How to Caring Gingivitis through Food Ordering

Gingivitis (gum inflammation) is a disease which is triggered by dental plaque. This inflammation can cause the gums to become sensitive and bleed. In the early stages, gingivitis is easily overcome, but when left alone, gingivitis develops into periodontitis which potentially could lead to tooth loss. Before gradually worse, here are tips on taking care of the food arrangements gingivitis.

1. Lack of vitamin C can cause gingivitis. Ensuring adequate intake of this vitamin will prevent gingivitis. Expand eat foods containing vitamin C such as kiwi, strawberries, melons, broccoli and oranges. If necessary, take 500 to 1000 mg of supplemental vitamin C twice a day.

2. Avoid sugary foods and drinks to minimize inflammation of the gums. Alternatively, mix one teaspoon of salt with one cup of warm water. Gargle with this solution for 30 seconds to fight inflammation.

 3. Place one or two of peppermint leaves between the gum and cheek on each side of the mouth when there is inflammation. Rubbing clove oil on the gums will also help fight bacteria.

 4. Brush your teeth with toothpaste containing tea tree extracts. This kind of toothpaste sold in many supermarkets or drug stores.

5. Drinking cranberry juice every day to keep the bacteria multiply on the teeth.

6. Floss your teeth with floss after eating. Food stuck between the teeth is a common cause of gingivitis (gum inflammation). Perform flossing after meals
